Direct Thermal (DT)
Ribbon-free printing — heat-sensitive paper darkens under the print head. Maximum simplicity, ideal for shipping labels, receipts, short-term barcodes and weight labels.
No ribbon required
Premium — bright white paper, superior print quality, long image life. Core 1" and 3".
Economical — standard white paper for moderate volumes. Core 1" and 3". Excellent value.
Heat-sensitive colored paper — yellow, red, blue, green. Fast visual sorting and ID.
Thermal Transfer (TT)
Ribbon-based printing — ink from the ribbon is fused onto the substrate. Maximum durability, resistance to moisture, heat, abrasion and chemicals. Ideal for traceability, industrial, food and outdoor use.
Ribbon required (wax / wax-resin / resin)
Premium white thermal transfer paper — superior print quality. Core 1" (desktop) and 3" (industrial).
Economical thermal transfer paper, Core 1" — desktop volumes, consistent quality.
Glossy polypropylene — grease, water and UV resistant. Core 1" and 3". Wax-resin ribbon.
High-durability polypropylene — chemical and outdoor resistance. Core 3". Resin ribbon.
Destructible label — fragments on any removal attempt. Security and anti-tamper.

Frequently asked questions
Direct thermal or thermal transfer — which should I choose?
Direct thermal (DT): no ribbon, simpler and cheaper, but the image fades over time with heat and light. Ideal for shipping, receipts, short-term labels. Thermal transfer (TT): uses a ribbon, durable print resistant to moisture, heat, abrasion. Ideal for traceability, industrial, food, outdoor and permanent labels.
What's the difference between Core 1" and Core 3"?
The core is the inside mandrel diameter of the roll. Core 1" = desktop printers (Zebra ZD420, ZD620, LP2844, GK420D, Godex G500...). Core 3" = industrial printers (Zebra ZT-series, Godex EX/ZX...). Never mix — we validate the right core for your printer.
